Exercise has played a major role in Christian’s life since the tender age of 4 and has provided him with many achievements through out his playing and coaching career. It was his passion for sport, exercise and training which lead to him completing an Exercise Science degree and began his path into the world of personal training and development.

Christian is regarded as one of Sydney’s top personal trainers, with over 6 years experience in the industry. Managing his own business in London and Sydney, Christian has a wealth of knowledge to share. As a further testament to his experience and expertise, Christian trains several other personal trainers for their personal development as trainers and to compete at CrossFit Affiliate Games.

Christian’s passion for CrossFit was developed through his own personal success in reaching the fittest state of health he had ever been. Christian has now used this method with numerous clients achieving personal goals most thought unthinkable.

Paul Walton

Paul Walton

Paul developed a passion for sport and exercise when he strapped on his first football boots at age 5. This love of exercise and personal development lead Paul to complete an Exercise Science degree at the Australian Catholic University and commence his drive to becoming a personal trainer.

Paul is highly motivating and devoted to achieving client’s goals and has been working as a qualified personal trainer in one of Sydney’s most well respected gyms. “I am one of the lucky people who love what I do and enjoy sharing my exercise knowledge with others.”

Paul started to implement CrossFit as his training methodology after applying it to his own training. He has found the efficiency of getting results to be unparalleled to anything he had experienced for himself and his clients.

Nardia Norman

Nardia Norman

Nardia’s love for the fitness industry began whilst playing Hockey at representative levels throughout school and university. It was this passion for sports and health, which prompted her to complete her Bachelor of Physical Education. During this time she ran a highly successful Personal Training business at the world renowned Les Mills World of Fitness and has since worked at some of the best clubs in NZ and Australia.

Having over 13 years of personal training, coaching and mentoring experience has equipped Nardia with  the knowledge and expertise to deal with a large calibre of people, ranging from beginners to rehabilitation clients to professional athletes. She is currently a senior lecturer at the Australian Institute of Fitness, runs a mentoring business for upcoming personal trainers and is known as the ‘trainer of trainers’. Nardia’s passion and excitement for the industry always shines through whether its when teaching, personal training or participating .

Andrew Berridge

Andrew’s love of sport began at age 5 when he began playing soccer and training Kyokushin Karate. Over the years, he focused more on Karate and at only the age of 12 achieved his First Dan Black Belt. After needing a new challenge, Andrew started Thaiboxing, a pursuit that 8 years later resulted in him being a 6-time Australian Champion, as well as an East Coast Australian and NSW State Champion.

This love of sport, fitness and competition eventually lead Andrew to become a personal trainer, having now run his own successful personal training business for over 7 years. He works in some of the most well-known and respected gyms in Sydney, sought out by clients for his knowledge and personal achievements.

After retiring from Thaiboxing, the need for something to fill the gap brought the next challenge – CrossFit. Since starting CrossFit, Andrew has integrated it into every aspect of his own training and with clients, which includes many other personal trainers in their own development.

“The first WOD I ever did was “Fran” – it took me to a horrible place I’d never been before…but I’ve been hooked ever since!”

Andrew is really excited to be joining the team with Paul, Christian, Nardia and everyone at CFA.

Meredith Julliard

Meredith Julliard

Meredith came from a dance background throughout school which lead her to complete a BA Human Movement studies and enter the fitness industry. Meredith is also a Pilates instructor and has taught an athletic style of Pilates for the last 10 years. Meredith is passionate about complete wellness and a balanced sustainable lifestyle change for her clients. Meredith loves to train, educate and motivate her clients while inspiring them to “think big” and believe that their bodies can do so much more than simply get them from A to B.

Meredith loves to push her own physical limits and ran 2 marathons in the last 18 months and is currently training for the Wild endurance 100 adventure race in April. Meredith started training with the CrossFit methodology about 18 months ago and has never looked back, the constant challenge, variety and mental toughness required gives her great results and motivation to improve her skills.

Kim Pedersen

Kim Pederson

Kim has one of the busiest and most active life’s I’ve ever seen. So CrossFit was a perfect fit straight away! With nicknames like the Norwegian Ninja (yes, he’s a Scando), the smiling assassin and pocket rocket, you can imagine the energy level Kim brings to his classes. His sports history ranges from cross country skiing, snowboarding, orienteering, soccer, surfing, rock climbing, Olympic weightlifting and beach volleyball (which is also his full time job) so you can see he brings a wealth of experience, which you can see in his creative warm ups and mobility work.

Having trained athletes and himself for sport specific training previously, he was always looking for an efficient and proven conditioning program to push his fitness to the best it could be. After being introduced to CrossFit by Sam Berry (Australia’s best rock climber for the last 10 years, who also now runs CrossFit Parramatta), Kim is convinced that it is the best strength and conditioning program he has ever tried. Kim is also the General Manager of beachvolleyball.com.au
