What is CrossFit Training?

CrossFit is a core-strength and conditioning program designed to work your body as it was intended – as a complete unit.

The workouts consist of large, functional and multi-joint movements such as pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, throwing and jumping, which are performed at high intensity. Our goal is to create the quintessential athlete – equal part gymnast, weightlifter, sprinter, rower and 800m runner.

We do this by focusing on 10 key fitness domains:

Workout of the Day

The workouts are referred to as ‘Workout of the Day’ (WOD) because every day is a different routine, which keeps your body guessing and ensures you never get bored. Whether you want to lose fat, improve muscle tone, develop greater muscle mass, improve athletic performance or simply get healthy, CrossFit training will help achieve your goals.


Personalised Group Training

Personalised Group TrainingAt CrossFit Athletic you will receive personal training in a group format. We’re able to train diverse groups, as CrossFit is designed to be scaled to an individual’s ability and fitness level. The program and movement is the same, we just change the weight and intensity according to each person’s abilities to ensure maximum results in the safest way.

The group environment is competitive but friendly, and will push you to perform at your best.
