Our coaches come from a foundation of experience, knowledge and true client care, which we deliver through effective program design, innovative educational seminars and individually tailored options. Coming from a personal training background, we believe in constantly developing our clients strength and conditioning with an emphasis on safety and bio-mechanical function. Many of our coaches come from a background in Sports and Exercise Science, holding additional qualifications and specialisations in areas such as Weightlifting, Mobility and Nutrition. They are passionate about helping others and are experienced with all types of athletes.
I signed up for the Beginners Program at Crossfit Athletic, because I was looking for a challenge in my fitness life, but wasn’t sure if Crossfit was for me. From the first session, I have totally enjoyed the experience, challenge and camaraderie. The trainers have all been amazing – their experience and dedication are evident, and enthusiasm contagious.
I have kept fit since retiring from professional sport 13 years ago by competing in a variety of events over the years but must admit that I have stayed away from strength training and gyms. Despite good intentions and fairly regular running and cycling, the juggle of work and family life had gotten the better of me and I needed a clear commitment and change to kick start my fitness again and lose weight.

Thanks to all of you I am the fittest, leanest and strongest I have ever been in my life. I know it and I feel it. In the right light, I can see a six-pack! Initially I participated for aesthetic reasons (to get myself in shape and lose weight). Since starting CrossFit Athletic City 9 months ago I have lost almost 8 kilos.
