At CrossFit Athletic, we believe in constantly developing our clients’ strength and conditioning. We will always do this in the context of safety and biomechanical function. In doing so, we have established 4 different exercise programs to suit our members.
CrossFit Base: For balanced fitness to get you fit and look great
The Base program is ideal for newcomers to functional training who want to learn a wide variety of new movements. We believe in teaching people correct movement patterns and techniques. With structured programming and expert coaching, you will be guided towards perfecting barbell and gymnastic exercises for strength and cardio training. You will be constantly challenged to learn and progress, as well as keep lean, fit, healthy and strong.
CrossFit Climb: For the athletic person looking to be challenged like never before
The Climb program is for those who want to enjoy advanced movements and skills. We include all Olympic lifts and gymnastic movements to build strength, stability and coordination. We also incorporate traditional barbell and dumbbell movements such as squatting, deadlifting and pressing for strength.
This is the program for the exercise enthusiasts who wants to constantly improve and build upon the skills they have acquired and progress further.
Climb is structured to allow us to spend adequate time on technique and skill training so as people are constantly learning and improving. We also incorporate a wide variety of strength and conditioning pieces to enable you to stay strong and lean. Our coaches are experts in this field and will help you become the very best you can be.
MetCon: For those who want to get their sweat on
Our MetCon program is designed by coaches with more than 15 years of coaching and programming experience. Within the program we focus on two areas of training.
First, controlled strength training. We use time under tension techniques, keeping the weights suitable and manageable for the individual, with the aim of building the right amount of muscle to tone your body.
Second, the program provides aerobic conditioning better know as cardio. We utilise a variety of exercises and equipment to constantly keep you motivated, challenged and drive you towards your fitness goals.
Everyone loves to have a good sweat and this is exactly what this program encourages. Our expert coaches will assist you with how to perform exercises correctly in order to maximise training, educate you, and keep you moving optimally.
Vitality Plan: Setting the right foundation for a healthy life
Have you tried too many fitness programs that are too intense and didn’t really cater for your injuries or limitations? The fitness industry lives of high intensity training which unfortunately, is just not achievable for so many.
Which is why we have introduced the Vitality Plan. Our goal is to work on your movement, flexibility, strength and coordination to improve your health and allow you to enjoy all of your hobbies and activities. This program is targeted towards people over the age of 40, who want to learn how to train in the gym with correct technique and expert coaching care, whilst still be challenged to improve their fitness levels.
